Preparation

Step 1 — Chill the Glass

Place martini or coupe glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to chill while preparing the cocktail.

Step 2 — Brew the Espresso

Prepare fresh espresso and allow it to cool slightly so it remains warm but not hot.

Step 3 — Shake the Cocktail

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, Kahlua, Frangelico, Baileys and fresh espresso.

Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and lightly frothy.

Step 4 — Strain and Serve

Double strain into the chilled martini glass to create a smooth, velvety surface.

Step 5 — Garnish

Finish with three coffee beans or a light dusting of cocoa powder for presentation.

Chef’s Note: A hard shake is essential — it creates the signature creamy foam that defines a classic espresso martini.
